Solitaire levels come with all sorts of fun and challenging mechanics. Here’s a rundown of what you might encounter.
Locked Doors
A key is hidden somewhere in the deck. Find it to unlock all the doors on the level!
Gravity
In these levels, cards don’t stay fixed in one position - they fall from above like in a cascade.
- When you remove a card, the one above it will drop down.
- If there’s no card above, a new one will spawn.
- If an immovable blocker (like a Locked Door) is in the way, cards can’t fall past it.
Ascending & Descending Cards
These cards change their value every time you play a card - either increasing or decreasing by one.
⚠️ Note: Drawing from the stack, matching cards without a value, or playing Ice cards won’t affect them.
Anchors and Water Cards
Anchors block certain cards until you clear all the Water Cards. Remove the water, and the anchors will disappear!
Gold Cards
Gold Cards don’t have a number - only a suit (♥️♠️♦️♣️). Match them with any card of the same suit to clear them.
Frozen Cards
These cards are trapped under a layer of ice. Matching a card to break the ice layer will discard the card you just played, revealing the frozen card beneath.
Bombs
Some cards come with a ticking bomb. The number on the bomb tells you how many more cards you can collect before it goes off.
To stop it from exploding, simply collect the bomb card before the countdown hits 0. If it does explode, 3 to 5 extra cards will be randomly added to the board, making the level trickier to complete.
Squirrel
This mischievous little critter jumps around the board, blocking cards as it moves. Every time you draw or collect a card, the squirrel finds a new spot to sit on.
How to remove it:
- Find and collect the Potion card to make it disappear
- Use a Wrecking Ball booster to scare it away instantly
Blinds Cards
These cards are covered by window blinds that change with every move:
- Fully covered - Cannot be collected
- Partially covered - Collectable
- Uncovered - Collectable
Tornado
Collecting a Tornado shuffles all the cards on the board, changing their values.
Planks and Crowbar
Some cards are covered by three layers of wooden planks. To remove them, collect three Crowbars. Once all the planks are gone, you can collect the card normally.
